I swam today's timed 500 in 10:26. I did the first 250 in 5:15 and then the second in 5:11. I dropped my time by over a minute over 3 months ago. I also managed to get the elusive negative split. I would like to get another minute faster by the Vikingman.

Good work. I need to get a swim coach. My swim times are going backwards. I'm embarrassed to say how slow I am right now.
My main goal is to not have a panic attack in open water during the swim.
You can run the 13.1 miles. I can't do that yet. I am sure you will rock the vikingman.
