A good long-ish run today. Good hill climbing. I ran slow--about 5 mph. I could have run faster but that was not the point. I haven't done a run with these sort of hills at this distance since last year. I was not trying to max out my heart rate either, especially since I can't tell what my heart rate since my HRM batteries need replacement. I just went by perceived exertion. My breathing wasn't too heavy, and were it not that my legs felt like toast by the time I neared the end (or the hail hitting me in the face) I could have run much longer. The hills just sort of fried me more than I thought.
In the end I ran 5.9 miles according to MapMyRide.com.
