that doesn't look like the grippo, it looks like a racing ralph tread on a FMB casing...still, yummy.

I dunno Jimbo, I just copied what they called it, but it does indeed look like a Racing Ralph. On a 29er that tread is killer. I think in all but the muddiest of terrains that would be an interesting tire.
grippo is indeed the racing ralph tread glued to a FMB casing. Schwalbe sold FMB tread (that's the mark1 gen of the RR cx tire fwiw).wicked freaking amazing tire. rolls really well on hard pack/pavement, grips like hell in everything else except peanut butter mud.
I love the Racing ralph tread. Never had it on a tubular. This is the leading candidate for the new set of tubulars next year.
